GrowFlow pricing and GrowFlow POS cost for a dispensary in 2026

The short answer

GrowFlow now publishes its prices, which it did not do in 2025. Its retail plan for dispensaries costs $499 a month month to month, $449 a month on a 6-month term, or $420 a month on a 12-month term with the first month free, which GrowFlow states as $4,620 a year, or $385 a month effective. Every plan is per license with unlimited users. The real spread is in the extras: month to month and 6-month plans pay a $500 implementation fee plus paid data migration, and the eCommerce menu is an add-on at $299, $249 or $200 a month depending on term. On our arithmetic, one store with eCommerce pays about $10,076 in year one month to month and about $7,020 on the annual term, and the annual term is the cheaper choice for anyone who stays past month eight.

The monthly figure is the easy part. The term you pick decides setup, migration and what the eCommerce menu costs.

GrowFlow is a Denver company that started in Washington State as a traceability tool for growers and added a dispensary point of sale when it bought LeafOps in 2018. Today it sells two products on separate price tracks: Wholesale for cultivators, processors and distributors, and Retail for dispensaries. Its release of September 3, 2024 says the company was bought by its management team with TDV Capital Partners, with founder Rufus Casey as CEO, and that it is most used in Washington, Oklahoma, New Mexico and New York.

For most of its history GrowFlow priced by quote. An archived copy of its pricing page from April 2025 is a contact form and nothing else, and the software directories still say GrowFlow does not share prices. That is no longer true. The current page lists every retail and wholesale term in US dollars, with setup and add-ons. This page reads that card line by line, turns it into first-year totals, and sets it against the other cannabis POS vendors that publish. We are a directory for state-licensed dispensaries. We do not sell or resell POS software and take no referral fee from any vendor named here.

Why it works

What to check before you sign a GrowFlow term

Pick the term on tenure

Month to month plus the $500 setup fee overtakes the 12-month term after about eight and a half months. If you expect to be on GrowFlow at month nine, the annual term is cheaper even counting the commitment.

Price the eCommerce line

The online menu is an add-on on every plan except Enterprise, at $299, $249 or $200 a month by term. Over a year that is $2,400 to $3,588, which can be most of the gap between GrowFlow and a rival quote.

Get migration in writing

Data migration is free on the 12-month and Enterprise plans and listed only as paid on the others, with no figure. If you are coming from another POS, ask for the migration price before you choose a shorter term.

Read the renewal clause

The plan cards say cancel anytime, but the FAQ says 6-month and 12-month terms renew automatically at the same rate unless you cancel at least 30 days before renewal. Ask which wording your order form uses.

Confirm your state

GrowFlow lists 14 supported states on its pricing page. Its 2025 site had state pages for Illinois, Massachusetts and New Jersey, and none of the three is on the 2026 list. Confirm support for your state and license type first.

Count the licenses

Prices are per license. A vertical operator running retail and wholesale pays on both tracks, and multi-license discounts only start at five licenses, quoted case by case.

How it works

Four steps, in the order that actually pays

1

Decide your horizon

Estimate honestly how long you will stay on the system. Under eight months, month to month is cheaper. Past nine, the annual term wins, and it also includes setup, migration and two training sessions.

2

List your add-ons

Write down whether you need the eCommerce menu, payment processing, hardware or paid integrations. GrowFlow says those can be billed separately, so each needs its own line on the quote.

3

Price one published rival

Run the same store through Cova's or IndicaOnline's public card. That gives you a checkable monthly figure to hold against GrowFlow's before the demo call.

4

Compare first-year totals

Twelve months of software plus setup, migration, eCommerce and any hardware you must replace. Compare the full first year, not the headline monthly price.

The meter test

Prices from GrowFlow's pricing page, read October 9, 2026. Software and setup figures are GrowFlow's. The year-one totals are our arithmetic and assume the eCommerce add-on is billed for all twelve months, which the page does not say either way. Payment processing, hardware and third-party integrations can be billed separately and are not included.

How much does GrowFlow cost?

GrowFlow's retail plan for dispensaries costs $499 a month on a month to month basis, $449 a month on a 6-month term, and $420 a month on a 12-month term. The 12-month term gives new customers the first month free, so GrowFlow bills eleven payments and states the year at $4,620, or $385 a month effective. Enterprise, built for multi-state operators and teams that want API access, is priced by quote on license count, volume and platform access.

All prices are per license, in US dollars, billed monthly, and every plan includes unlimited users and seats. Wholesale, for cultivators, processors and distributors, is a separate and cheaper track at $399, $349 or $315 a month by the same terms. For context, that puts GrowFlow retail inside the band of the other vendors that publish, which we lay out on cannabis POS software pricing by vendor.

  • Retail: $499 month to month, $449 on 6 months, $420 on 12 months.
  • Wholesale: $399, $349 or $315 a month by the same terms.
  • Per license, unlimited users, billed monthly.
  • Enterprise by quote, with API, MCP server and data warehouse access.

What does a GrowFlow first year really cost?

More than the monthly line on the shorter terms, and close to it on the annual one. Month to month and 6-month plans add a $500 implementation fee and list data migration as paid with no price. The 12-month and Enterprise plans include implementation, migration from your prior system and two activation training sessions. So a single store without eCommerce pays $6,488 in year one month to month, $5,888 on the 6-month term and $4,620 on the 12-month term, before any migration bill on the first two.

The useful number is the crossover. Month to month costs $500 plus $499 a month, and the annual term costs $4,620 for the year. The two meet at about eight and a quarter months. If you expect to still be on GrowFlow at month nine, the annual term is cheaper even counting the obligation, and the gap widens once you add migration. The case for month to month is a store that genuinely may leave within the first two quarters.

How much is the GrowFlow eCommerce add-on?

The online menu tied to live inventory costs $299 a month on month to month, $249 on the 6-month term and $200 on the 12-month term. It is listed as an add-on on all three standard plans and is included only in Enterprise. Over a year that is $3,588, $2,988 or $2,400, which is often the largest single difference between two POS quotes that look alike on software.

Whether it is worth it depends on your state and on what you already use. In Washington, state rules do not let a retailer complete a cannabis sale online, so check what the menu actually does for your customers there before you pay for it. If you already list your menu through a marketplace, ask how the GrowFlow menu and the marketplace menu would share inventory, because paying twice for the same function is common. Our comparison of dispensary online ordering systems sets the GrowFlow price against the other menus.

Can you cancel GrowFlow anytime?

On month to month, yes, with 30 days' notice. On the longer terms the page contradicts itself. The 6-month and 12-month plan cards both say cancel anytime, while the FAQ on the same page says those terms renew automatically at the same rate unless you cancel at least 30 days before the renewal date. Those are not the same thing, and the order form you sign is what counts.

Ask GrowFlow to confirm in writing whether a 12-month term can be ended early, and at what cost, before you pick it for the lower rate. Then put the renewal date and the 30-day notice date in your calendar on the day you sign. Moving to a longer term is allowed at any time and the new rate applies from the next invoice. Moving to a shorter term only takes effect at renewal.

What states does GrowFlow support?

GrowFlow's pricing FAQ lists 14 states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Virginia and Washington. The compliance section names integrations with Metrc, BioTrack, Washington's CCRS and New Mexico's NMS2S, so it covers both states that moved off BioTrack recently.

The list has changed. GrowFlow's site in April 2025 carried state pages for Illinois, Massachusetts and New Jersey, and none of the three appears on the 2026 list. We do not know why, and GrowFlow says to contact sales to confirm availability for your state and license type. If you operate in one of those three states, or you are a multi-state operator with a store there, get that confirmation in writing before you sign.

Is GrowFlow good for a Washington dispensary?

It is one of the systems that can legally report there. GrowFlow appears on the Liquor and Cannabis Board's list of software integrators with CCRS access, and Washington is where the company started and where its own release says it has the most market share. That puts it in a short list of vendors a Washington retailer can actually use, which we compare on our best POS for Washington dispensaries page.

The Washington specifics to test in the demo are the medical endorsement records and the excise display. The register has to keep each patient's recognition card number on the sale for five years, and the 37% excise tax must be included in the shelf price and shown on the receipt. Ask GrowFlow to show both on a test sale. Of the vendors on that LCB list we checked, GrowFlow is the only one publishing a full price, which makes it the natural anchor for any other Washington quote. The closest rival, Cultivera, now gives its basic POS away in Washington and quotes everything else, as we show on Cultivera pricing.

GrowFlow vs Cova and IndicaOnline on price

Three cannabis POS vendors now publish a full US rate card. On a single store, GrowFlow's annual term at $385 to $420 a month sits beside Cova Boutique at $349 with Cova Pay or $389 without, and IndicaOnline Core at $240 a month on annual billing or $300 monthly, with its higher tiers at $600 to $850. The meters differ. Cova charges by workstation, IndicaOnline by plan with a set number of POS licenses, and GrowFlow by license with unlimited users.

That makes the honest comparison depend on your store. A small shop with one or two registers will usually find IndicaOnline Core or Cova Boutique cheaper on software alone. A store that also needs an online menu, or a vertical operator that wants retail and wholesale in one system, should price GrowFlow's annual term with eCommerce against the others with their equivalent menu, because that is where the totals converge. The full cards are on our Cova pricing and IndicaOnline pricing pages.

Who owns GrowFlow?

GrowFlow's management team, backed by TDV Capital Partners. A release dated September 3, 2024 announced the buyout and a leadership team made up mostly of early staff: Rufus Casey, the original founder, as CEO; Carly Bodmer as Chief Revenue Officer; Cory Shaw, founder of LeafOps, as CTO; and Tom Wilson, a technical cofounder, as Principal Engineer. Before that, GrowFlow had been bought by the cannabis banking firm Dama Financial.

For a buyer, a founder-led team that just started publishing prices is a reasonable sign of a vendor competing on transparency. It is also a small, privately held company, so ask the questions you would ask any smaller vendor: who supports you after hours, what the uptime commitment is (an uptime SLA is listed only for Enterprise), and how you get your data out if you leave. Our guide on how to switch dispensary POS systems covers the export steps that matter.
