THREE PRODUCTS, THREE PRICING MODELS

Cultivera pricing and Cultivera POS cost for dispensaries and producers

The short answer

Cultivera does not publish a price for its core products. There is no pricing page on cultivera.com, and its own FAQ says the cost depends on your state and how many licenses you hold, so you get a quote from sales. Three things are public. In Washington, the basic Cultivera POS plan is offered to licensed retailers at no cost, with paid features added on top at unpublished prices. Cultivera Pro, the system for growers and processors, moved to tiers based on monthly revenue in Washington in April 2023, again without published figures. And Cultivera Market, the wholesale ordering portal, says most brands can start for $299, with tiers set by monthly Market sales and free setup in newer states.

Cultivera bills its three products three different ways. Know which one you are being quoted for before you compare it with anything.

Cultivera started in Washington in 2016 as compliance software for growers and processors, built against the state tracking systems of the time, and it is still best known there. It now sells four things: Cultivera Pro for cultivators, processors and distributors; Cultivera Market, a wholesale ordering portal where retailers buy from brands; Cultivera POS for dispensaries; and Cultivera Exchange, a raw materials marketplace launched in Washington in June 2026.

The pricing question is harder than it looks because each of those products is priced on a different basis. A dispensary owner and a cultivator asking "how much does Cultivera cost" are asking about different invoices. This page separates them, quotes exactly what Cultivera publishes on its own site, marks what only third parties claim, and sets the result against the Washington POS vendors that do publish a full rate card. We are a directory for state-licensed dispensaries. We do not sell or resell POS software and take no referral fee from any vendor named here.

Why it works

What to pin down before you sign with Cultivera

Ask which product the quote covers

Pro, Market and POS are billed separately and on different meters. A vertical operator in Washington can pay for Pro on the grow side, pay Market tiers as a seller, and run POS at the store. Get each one as its own line.

Get the paid POS features priced

The Washington POS plan is free at the basic level, with additional features available when you need them. Cultivera does not say which features are paid or what they cost. List the ones you will use in year one and ask for each price in writing.

Confirm the contract terms

Cultivera's own 2024 POS article says month to month plans mean no long contracts. GrowFlow, a competitor, describes Cultivera as contract based. Both cannot be your deal. The order form decides, so read the term and notice period before you sign.

Check your state is really served

Cultivera's pages disagree with each other on coverage. The homepage lists ten markets, the POS login offers only Oklahoma and California, and the FAQ names eight states. Outside Washington, confirm POS support for your license type before a demo.

Price revenue tiers at your peak month

Pro in Washington and Market are both tiered by revenue, and Cultivera reviews tiers on a schedule you cannot request. Model the bill at your best month, not your average, because that is the tier you will be placed in.

Budget onsite help as hourly

Cultivera's FAQ says onsite services are available at an additional cost billed hourly, and the rate depends on the consultant. Virtual demos are free. If you want someone at the store on go-live day, ask for the hourly rate up front.

How it works

Four steps, in the order that actually pays

1

Name your product mix

Write down which Cultivera products you would actually use: POS only, Pro only, Pro plus Market as a seller, or all three. The answer changes who you talk to and what the quote is built on.

2

Ask for a written monthly figure

Request the monthly price per license, the term, the notice period, what happens at renewal, and the price of every paid POS feature you listed. A vendor that will not put this in an email is telling you how the renewal will go.

3

Hold it against a published card

Run the same store through GrowFlow's public rate card, which is on the same Washington integrator list. That gives you a checkable number to compare with Cultivera's quote before you sit through a second demo.

4

Test the Washington specifics

In a test sale, confirm the 37% excise appears in the shelf price and on the receipt, that a medical sale keeps the recognition card number, and that the weekly CCRS file can be produced without a spreadsheet step.

Read from cultivera.com and support.cultivera.com on October 12, 2026. cultivera.com/pricing returns a 404 and we found no archived pricing page. No software directory we could reach publishes a dollar figure for Pro or paid POS; SourceForge says only that pricing is determined by platform, state and number of licenses.

How much does Cultivera cost?

For most buyers the honest answer is that Cultivera does not say. Its FAQ states that the price "depends on your state and how many licenses you have" and that there may be price cuts, changes or promotions, and it sends you to a sales representative for a quote. There is no pricing page, and the third-party listings we found repeat the same line: pricing is set by platform, state and number of licenses, with monthly or yearly rates and bundle discounts for small businesses, vertical operators and multi-state operators.

What is public is narrower but useful. A Washington dispensary can run the basic Cultivera POS at no cost. A brand selling on Cultivera Market in Washington starts, by Cultivera's own words, at about $299, and in states Market entered in 2025 it pays nothing until it passes a sales threshold. Everything else, including every Pro plan and every paid POS feature, is a quote. For the vendors that do publish a full card, see cannabis POS software pricing by vendor.

  • Cultivera POS basic plan, Washington: $0, paid features extra and unpriced.
  • Cultivera Pro: quote, revenue tiers in Washington since April 2023.
  • Cultivera Market: about $299 to start for most brands in Washington, free to start in newer states.
  • Onsite help: hourly, rate set by the consultant.

Is Cultivera POS free?

In Washington, the basic plan is. Cultivera's page, first published in November 2025, says it can now offer its basic Cultivera POS plan to licensed cannabis retailers in Washington at no cost, with additional features available when they need them and extra features and integrations added as they scale. The page does not list which features sit behind the paywall or what any of them cost, and it says nothing about hardware or payment processing.

Read that the way you would read any free tier. The basic plan is real and can be enough for a small single store, but the bill arrives through whatever you add. Before you move a store onto it, list the features you used last month on your current system, such as loyalty, an online menu integration, multiple registers, reporting and integrations with your accounting or payments, and ask which are in the free plan. Outside Washington, Cultivera publishes no free plan at all.

Why would Cultivera give its POS away in Washington?

Cultivera does not explain the decision, so this is our reading rather than its statement. Cultivera Market is the company's strongest product in Washington. Cultivera's own marketing says most of the state's licensed retailers order through it, and retailers pay nothing to order there while brands pay tiers. A free POS for those same retailers puts Cultivera at the counter as well as in the purchasing workflow.

That matters to a buyer for one reason. When software is free because another product pays for it, the free product is only as stable as that arrangement. It is not a reason to avoid it. It is a reason to check how easily you can export your sales history and customer list, and what the paid tier would cost if the free plan changed, before you build your store around it. Our guide on how to switch dispensary POS systems covers the exports worth testing on day one.

How much does Cultivera Pro cost?

Cultivera publishes no figure. What it does publish is how the price is set. A support article dated March 2023 explains that Cultivera Pro in Washington moved from a single price to tiers based on business size and monthly revenue, effective on most April 2023 bills, that tiers are reviewed quarterly, and that a tier cannot be requested. Cultivera gave rising technology and software costs as the reason.

For a cultivator or processor, revenue tiering means two things. Your software bill grows with your sales, so a strong harvest quarter can move you up a tier. And because the review schedule is Cultivera's, you should model your cost at your best quarter, not your average. Ask for the tier boundaries in dollars and the price at each, in writing, before signing. If you are comparing platforms that cover cultivation through retail, our roundup of seed to sale software lists which ones publish a price.

How much does Cultivera Market cost?

For a dispensary buying from brands, nothing. Cultivera says there is no fee to place orders and no cost for retail purchasers to sign up or shop. The seller pays. In Washington, Market sellers are placed in tiers by monthly Market revenue: Seed under $10,000, Start-Up from $10,000 to $50,000, Growth from $50,000 to $150,000, and Enterprise from $150,000 to $300,000. The page says most brands can get started for $299 and that prices can change after the first 90 days as tiers are reviewed monthly. No price per tier is listed.

In the states Market entered in September 2025, Cultivera says setup is free and sellers pay nothing until they pass pre-set sales thresholds, which it does not publish. If you are a brand, ask for the threshold and the tier prices in writing. If you are a retailer, Market costs you nothing directly, but it is worth knowing that the brands you buy from are paying for the channel.

Is Cultivera on the Washington CCRS integrator list?

Yes. Cultivera is one of 15 vendors on the Liquor and Cannabis Board's list of integrators with CCRS access, updated March 4, 2026. The others are Appspensary, Bamboo Metrix, BLAZE, Canix, DOPE CPA, Dutchie POS, Flourish, GrowFlow, Jane, MaxQ, Meadow, OpenTHC, Originscale and POSaBIT. Cova, Flowhub and Treez are not on it. Cultivera's support notes from January 2026 also mention official CCRS manifests inside Cultivera Pro.

Being on the list is the price of entry in Washington, not a differentiator. The things to test are the ones that went wrong for other stores: the medical recognition card number kept on every exempt sale for five years, and the 37% excise shown in the shelf price and on the receipt. We compare every vendor on that list on our best POS for Washington dispensaries page.

Cultivera vs GrowFlow on price

They are the two Washington-born systems that span grow and retail, and they now sit at opposite ends of pricing transparency. GrowFlow publishes everything: retail POS at $499 a month month to month, $449 on a 6-month term, or $420 on a 12-month term with the first month free, which it states as $4,620 a year, plus a $500 setup fee on the shorter terms and an eCommerce add-on at $200 to $299 a month. Cultivera publishes a free basic POS in Washington and nothing else.

For a single Washington store that needs only the basics, Cultivera's free plan is cheaper on paper by the full GrowFlow bill, about $4,620 to $6,488 in year one depending on term. The comparison closes as soon as you need paid Cultivera features, and you cannot know by how much until Cultivera quotes them. So price the features you need on both sides. GrowFlow also takes a dig at Cultivera on its own comparison page, calling it contract based, which Cultivera's 2024 article contradicts. Read the full GrowFlow card on GrowFlow pricing.

Which states does Cultivera support?

It depends which Cultivera page you read. The homepage lists ten markets: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon and Washington, and says Cultivera is available everywhere cannabis is legal. The FAQ names Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, Colorado, Oklahoma, Massachusetts and Michigan. The login page offers Pro in ten states but the POS login only in Oklahoma and California, alongside Washington's free plan.

Our reading is that Pro and Market travel further than POS does. If you run a dispensary outside Washington, ask Cultivera directly whether the POS is live for retail licenses in your state, which state tracking system it reports to there, and how many stores it already runs in that state. Those three answers matter more than the coverage map.

Questions owners ask

Cultivera pricing, answered

Not for its core products. Cultivera has no pricing page and its FAQ says cost depends on your state and number of licenses, quoted by sales. It does publish a free basic POS plan for Washington retailers and says most brands can start on Cultivera Market for $299.
The basic plan is. Since November 2025 Cultivera has offered its basic POS plan to licensed Washington cannabis retailers at no cost, with additional paid features available. It does not publish which features are paid or their prices.
Cultivera's own July 2024 POS article says month to month plans mean no long contracts. A competitor, GrowFlow, describes Cultivera's model as contract based. The order form you sign decides, so confirm the term and notice period in writing.
For a Washington store on the basic plan, yes, because Cultivera's basic POS is free and GrowFlow retail is $420 to $499 a month. Once you add paid Cultivera features the gap narrows by an amount Cultivera does not publish, so get both quotes for the same feature list.
Nothing. Cultivera says retail purchasers pay no fee to sign up, shop or place orders. Sellers pay, through tiers set by monthly Market revenue in Washington and after unpublished sales thresholds in newer states.
We found no record of an acquisition. Cultivera was founded in Washington in 2016, renamed from s2solutions in 2018 according to a press release, and the only funding on record in business databases is a seed round in 2016. Treat ownership as private and unconfirmed.
