The short answer
The best Flowhub alternative depends on what you are trying to fix. If it is price you can check before a demo, three vendors publish one: IndicaOnline from $240 a month billed annually, Cova at $349 to $599, and GrowFlow at $420 to $499 per license. If it is uptime and offline selling, Cova makes the strongest published claim. If it is menu reach and online ordering, Dutchie is the usual move, though it publishes no price. Flowhub itself has published no price since it removed its pricing page in August 2025.
That last point is the one most comparison pages miss, and it matters for every number below. The $399 figure every directory still quotes for Flowhub is not a current price. It matches the Essentials plan on Flowhub's own January 2022 pricing page, which was billed per location with unlimited terminals and users, not per user as Capterra lists it. So when you compare an alternative against Flowhub, you are comparing it against a four-year-old card or against your own invoice. Use your invoice.
What did Flowhub cost, and what does it cost now?
Flowhub's last public price list, archived on January 28, 2022, had three plans. Essentials was $399 a month billed annually or $449 monthly, for a single location with sales up to $50,000 a month and a $1,000 implementation fee. Performance was $599 a month per location billed annually or $659 monthly, for sales up to $300,000 a month, with $1,000 implementation for the first location and $500 for each one after. Flow, for larger operators, was priced by quote. Every plan included unlimited terminals and unlimited users, and Flowhub said it would not lock customers into a long-term contract, with cancellation on 60 days of written notice.
Add-ons were priced separately: the Greet and Stash mobile apps at $299 a month, the View analytics app at $149 a month per location, and API access at $99 a month per location. Since then Flowhub has added a POS-native ecommerce store (July 2025) and a Marketing Suite (September 2025), and Cova's comparison page says Flowhub charges extra for both. The pricing page has redirected to the homepage since August 27, 2025, and the 2026 site offers only a demo booking. We go through what the directories report and why they disagree on our Flowhub pricing page.
What are the best Flowhub alternatives?
These are the systems dispensaries most often weigh against Flowhub. Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, read October 12, 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, we say so instead of repeating a directory guess.
| Alternative | Published price | What it bills on | Where it beats Flowhub | Where Flowhub still wins |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IndicaOnline | $240 a month annually, $270 quarterly, $300 monthly (Core). Higher tiers $600 to $850 | Plan with 2 POS licenses, $50 per extra register | Lowest published entry price; delivery tiers with courier licenses | Flowhub never charged per register |
| Cova | Boutique $349 with Cova Pay or $389 without; Powerhouse $499 or $599. eCommerce $199, promo $149 | Workstations: up to 2 on Boutique, up to 4 on Powerhouse. Unlimited users | A current public card; published 99.99% uptime and offline mode claims | No workstation cap on any Flowhub plan |
| GrowFlow | $499 month to month, $449 on 6 months, $420 on 12 months. eCommerce $200 to $299 | License, unlimited users. $500 setup on shorter terms | Retail and wholesale from one vendor; month to month available | GrowFlow lists 14 states; check yours |
| Dutchie | Not published. Pricing page leads to a demo form | Location and modules | The largest ordering and menu footprint in the category | Flowhub's long Metrc integration record |
| Treez | Not published. "Customized quote" | One package, quoted | Built for high-volume and multi-store operators | Flowhub's old card showed a price; Treez never has |
| Meadow | Not published. "Customized quote" | Unlimited seats, flexible contracts | Delivery and storefront in one, strong California footprint | Wider state coverage |
BLAZE, Sweed and POSaBIT publish no pricing page either. If one of them is on your shortlist, the comparison is your quote against your Flowhub invoice, nothing more.
What does each alternative cost for a store with three registers?
This is the comparison that catches Flowhub customers out, because Flowhub never charged by terminal and most rivals do. Take one store running three registers, which is ordinary for a busy single location, and price it on each published card.
| System | Plan that covers 3 registers | Monthly, annual billing | Monthly, month to month | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IndicaOnline | Core plus 1 extra register | $290 | $350 | Core includes 2 POS licenses, extra register $50 |
| Cova | Powerhouse (Boutique stops at 2) | $499 with Cova Pay, $599 without | Same; Cova shows one monthly price | Third register forces the tier jump |
| GrowFlow | Retail, one license | $420 ($385 effective) | $499 plus $500 setup | Register count not stated on the card |
| Flowhub, 2022 card | Essentials, unlimited terminals | $399 | $449 | Historical. Your current invoice is the real figure |
Two things follow. First, a three-register store paying Flowhub around its old Essentials price is already near the bottom of the market, and Cova only beats it if you stay at two workstations. Second, IndicaOnline is the cheapest published option at three registers, by roughly $100 to $150 a month against Flowhub's old card, before you add the modules you actually use. Price the ecommerce line on both sides, because that is where quotes that look alike stop looking alike.
Flowhub vs Cova, which is cheaper?
For a store with one or two registers, Cova usually is, at $349 a month with Cova Pay or $389 without on Boutique, against $399 to $449 on Flowhub's last published Essentials plan. At three or four registers it reverses: Cova moves you to Powerhouse at $499 or $599, while Flowhub's plans never metered terminals. Cova also publishes its eCommerce add-on at $199, on promotion at $149, which lets you price the whole stack before a call. Cova is not on Washington's CCRS integrator list, so this comparison does not apply there. Our full card read is on Cova pricing. The full head-to-head, including the three-year cost, the ecommerce line and the payment discount, is in our Cova vs Flowhub pricing comparison.
Dutchie vs Flowhub, which should a dispensary choose?
Choose Dutchie if online ordering and menu reach are where your revenue comes from, and Flowhub if checkout speed and Metrc reporting at the counter matter more than the storefront. Neither publishes a price. Third-party reports put Dutchie at roughly $499 to $1,000 a month per location, which is above Flowhub's old card on every reading. Flowhub has narrowed the gap since July 2025 with its own ecommerce store, so the honest test is a side-by-side quote for the same modules. We compare the two head to head on Dutchie vs Flowhub.
Why do dispensaries switch from Flowhub?
Support and reporting come up most. The public review base is small, a handful of reviews on G2 and Capterra, so treat this as a pattern to test rather than a verdict. One G2 reviewer wrote that "the customer care experience was very disappointing and it was too hard to get the help I needed," another that "reporting is complicating and lacking," and a Capterra review is titled "Flowhub does not offer meaningful customer support." A 2022 review on SoftwareConnect said the system "merges metrc tags," which is the kind of fault that turns into a compliance problem rather than an annoyance.
Uptime is the other reason, and here the evidence is mixed. Flowhub's own homepage claims 99.99% uptime across more than 1,000 dispensaries. A third-party status tracker logged a login degradation in August 2025, ecommerce outages in November 2025 and February 2026, and a slowdown on the evening of April 20, 2026, the busiest night of the cannabis year. If outages are why you are looking, ask every alternative how its register keeps selling when the internet or its own servers go down. We cover what to test on dispensary POS offline mode.
What is the best Flowhub alternative for a single-location dispensary?
IndicaOnline, if price is the deciding factor, because its Core plan at $240 a month billed annually is the lowest published card in the category and covers two registers. Cova Boutique is the better pick if you want one monthly price without an annual commitment and you will stay at two workstations. GrowFlow fits a single store that also holds a grow or processing license. Our best cannabis POS for a single location guide works through year-one totals for each.
How do you switch from Flowhub without losing sales?
Start with the contract, not the software. Flowhub's 2022 terms required 60 days of formal written notice to cancel, so find your current agreement, confirm the notice period it actually states, and send notice on a date that lines up with your new system's go-live. A simple contract tracker that holds the renewal and notice dates for every vendor you pay saves you from paying two POS bills for a month you did not plan for.
Then export before you announce anything: product catalog, customer list with loyalty balances, and at least two years of sales history in a format your accountant can open. Run the new system in parallel for a day of real transactions, reconcile it to your state tracking system, and only then switch the counter over. Our step-by-step plan for switching dispensary POS systems sets out the order, and most moves take four to eight weeks.
Frequently asked questions
Does Flowhub publish its pricing?
No. Flowhub removed its pricing page in August 2025 and now routes buyers to a demo. Its last public card, from January 2022, listed Essentials at $399 a month billed annually or $449 monthly and Performance at $599 or $659 per location, with unlimited terminals and users on every plan.
Is Flowhub priced per user?
Not on its own last published card. Capterra lists $399 per user, but Flowhub's 2022 pricing page billed Essentials per location and said every plan included unlimited users and unlimited terminals. Ask for your current terms in writing, because the 2022 card is no longer published.
What is cheaper than Flowhub?
On published prices, IndicaOnline Core at $240 to $300 a month for two registers, and Cova Boutique at $349 to $389 for up to two workstations. At three or more registers Cova moves to $499 or $599, and Flowhub's old unlimited-terminal plans compare better.
Which Flowhub alternatives work in Washington?
Those on the Liquor and Cannabis Board's CCRS integrator list, which includes Dutchie POS, GrowFlow, Meadow, BLAZE, POSaBIT and Cultivera. Cova and Treez are not on it, and neither is Flowhub. We check each one on our best POS for Washington dispensaries page.
Where your customers come from does not change with the register
A new POS changes what happens at your counter. It does nothing for the shopper three miles away who has not found you yet.
