PRICE THE DISTRU QUOTE FIRST
Distru pricing, what Distru software costs per user and per month, and when a dispensary pays nothing at all
The short answer
Distru does not publish a price and sells its cannabis ERP on custom quotes. The two figures in circulation agree with each other: SelectHub reports a per user model starting at $100 to $500 a user a month, and an April 2026 roundup sponsored by a rival ERP puts Distru at about $1,200 a month for five users and 10,000 active SKUs, which works out to roughly $240 a user. Flourish, the closest competitor that does publish a rate card, charges $1,000 a month for ten users at $1 million to $5 million in revenue. If you run a dispensary and only buy wholesale through Distru, you pay nothing: DistruCommerce retailer accounts are free.

What a dispensary pays for a DistruCommerce retailer account
Distru is a seed-to-sale ERP built for the part of the cannabis supply chain that sits upstream of the register: cultivators, manufacturers, distributors and vertically integrated operators. It runs inventory, sales orders, fulfillment, production and cost accounting with a two-way Metrc sync, and it connects to BioTrack, LeafLink, Dutchie, BLAZE, QuickBooks and Xero. Distru says 440 plus operators use it. What it does not do is show a price before a demo.
This page lays out every number that exists and who published it, turns the reported per user figure into a monthly bill at five, ten and twenty users, and prices it against the one direct rival with a public rate card. It also covers the question most dispensary owners actually have, which is whether they need to pay Distru at all. We are a directory for state-licensed dispensaries. We do not sell ERP software and take no referral fee from any vendor named here.
Why it works
How to read a Distru quote
Ask for the per user rate
Both published readings of Distru are per user. Ask the rep for the monthly price of one full seat, the price of a warehouse or pick-and-pack seat, and whether read-only or brand portal logins count. Your seat count is the number the whole bill hangs on.
Know the SKU ceiling
The one detailed report ties its $1,200 figure to 10,000 active SKUs. Ask whether your quote carries a SKU or location limit, and what the next tier costs, before a new product line pushes you over it mid-contract.
Price onboarding apart
Metrc sync, data migration and accounting mapping are where ERP projects run long. Ask for onboarding as its own line, with what is included, how many sessions, and who fixes Metrc discrepancies during the first month.
Bring a published anchor
Flourish publishes $350, $1,000 and $3,000 a month by revenue band, with extra users at $100 each. Quoting it back turns a Distru number from an opening offer into a comparison you can check.
Check the term and renewal
Ask for the contract length, the renewal notice window and whether the per user rate is fixed at renewal. A seat price that rises as you grow is the clause that costs the most over three years.
We list, we do not sell ERP
Dispensaries is a directory of state-licensed stores. We have no stake in the ERP you choose. The one thing we sell has a published price: a claimed, license-verified listing is $99 a month.
How it works
Four steps, in the order that actually pays
Count seats and SKUs
Full users, warehouse and driver logins, active SKUs, licenses and locations. Those are the inputs to every Distru quote, so have them on paper before the call.
Model the reported rate
Seats times $240 gives you the midpoint of what has been reported. Seats times $100 and $500 gives the floor and ceiling. You now have a range to hold the quote against.
Price Flourish on the same store
Find your revenue band on Flourish's public card and add $100 for each user above the included count. That is a published number for a comparable seed-to-sale ERP.
Compare the first year
Twelve months of subscription, onboarding, any paid integrations and the renewal terms. An ERP is a multi-year decision, so the second-year price matters as much as the first.
The meter test
What Distru and its rivals cost a month
The gold bars are Distru, built from the two figures third parties report: SelectHub's $100 to $500 per user, and a sponsored roundup's $1,200 for five users, about $240 a seat. The gray bars are rates competitors publish or have reported for themselves. At ten users the reported Distru rate lands at more than twice Flourish's published Launch tier.
The numbers
Every Distru price we found, and who published it
| Source | Who they are | What they say Distru costs | How much weight to give it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Distru | The vendor | No price. Every route leads to a demo. DistruCommerce is free for retailers and takes no commission per wholesale order. | The retailer offer is firm and first-party. For the ERP, there is no public number to check against. |
| SelectHub | Software research directory | Per user, monthly, quote based, starting in the range of $100 to $500. Notes the lack of transparent pricing as a con. | A wide band, but the per user model matches the other report. Use the band as your floor and ceiling. |
| GlobePRwire roundup, April 2026 | Paid press release comparing seven cannabis ERPs, with Wherefour listed first | Starts around $1,200 a month for five users and 10,000 active SKUs. | The most specific figure, published in a piece a competitor paid to distribute. Plausible, since it sits inside SelectHub's band, but unconfirmed. |
| SaaSworthy | Software directory, unclaimed profile | Quotation based premium plans, no free trial. | Confirms quote only. No number. |
| SourceForge reviews | Software directory | No price. One reviewer calls it "a little on the pricey side for smaller companies." | A single review. Worth asking the rep about a small operator tier. |
| Flourish | Competing seed-to-sale ERP, published rate card | Nothing on Distru. Its own card: $350, $1,000 and $3,000 a month by revenue band, extra users $100 a month. | Not a Distru price, but the best published anchor for the same category of software. |
We opened every source in September 2026. Distru publishes no current price, so treat every figure here as a starting point for a written quote.

How much does Distru cost?
Distru does not publish a price, so the answer comes from two third-party reports that happen to agree. SelectHub describes Distru as priced per user per month, starting somewhere between $100 and $500 a user. An April 2026 cannabis ERP roundup puts it at about $1,200 a month for five users and 10,000 active SKUs, which is $240 a seat and sits comfortably inside SelectHub's band.
So a small operator with five people in the system should expect a quote near $1,000 to $1,500 a month, and a distributor with ten to twenty users something like $2,400 to $4,800 if the seat price holds. That last step is our arithmetic, not Distru's. Volume discounts are normal in ERP contracts and the rep may well price your twentieth seat below your fifth, which is exactly the thing to ask.
One caution about the most specific number. The roundup it comes from was distributed as a paid press release and lists a competitor, Wherefour, first. That does not make the Distru figure wrong, and it is consistent with the independent report, but it is not a figure Distru stands behind.
- No public price. Custom quotes after a demo.
- Reported per user: $100 to $500 a month, SelectHub.
- Reported bundle: about $1,200 a month for 5 users and 10,000 SKUs.
- Implied seat price: about $240 a month.
Is Distru free for dispensaries?
Yes, if you are buying rather than selling. DistruCommerce is Distru's wholesale ordering platform, and Distru says it is completely free for retailers, with no subscription and no hidden costs. A dispensary gets a free account to browse live inventory from the brands and distributors that use Distru, place purchase orders and track each order from processing to delivery.
The seller side is where the money is. Brands and distributors pay for the Distru ERP, and Distru pitches DistruCommerce to them as zero commission, contrasting it with marketplaces it says take up to 25% in fees. So if a brand asks you to order through Distru, it costs your store nothing, and the only real question is whether you want another portal next to the ones you already use. Your POS stays your system of record for retail, and our guide to dispensary POS systems covers that side of the stack.
Distru vs Flourish pricing
Flourish is the fairest comparison, because it is a seed-to-sale ERP for the same vertically integrated and wholesale operators and it publishes its prices. Essentials is $350 a month for businesses under $1 million in revenue with four users. Launch is $1,000 a month for $1 million to $5 million with ten users. Scale is $3,000 a month for $5 million to $25 million with thirty users. Extra users are $100 a month each, and annual billing takes 10% to 15% off.
Put the same ten-person, $3 million operator on both. Flourish's card says $1,000 a month. Distru at the reported $240 a seat is about $2,400. Even at SelectHub's floor of $100 a user, Distru only matches Flourish, it does not undercut it. That gap is the negotiating point: Distru's case is its fulfillment tooling, its Metrc sync and a support team reviewers rate highly, so ask the rep to show which of those you would use and to price against the published card rather than against nothing.
- Flourish Essentials: $350 a month, under $1M revenue, 4 users.
- Flourish Launch: $1,000 a month, $1M to $5M, 10 users.
- Flourish Scale: $3,000 a month, $5M to $25M, 30 users.
- Flourish extra users: $100 a month each.
Distru vs Canix pricing
Canix is a seed-to-sale ERP that leans toward cultivation, with manufacturing and distribution modules on top. The same April 2026 roundup reports it from $499 a month for cultivation and about $1,299 a month for the full manufacturing suite. Canix does not publish those figures itself, so they carry the same caveat as the Distru number from that piece.
Read together, the reports put Canix and Distru in a similar band for a small team, with Canix priced by module and Distru by seat. That difference decides which is cheaper for you. A cultivator with a large crew and one simple workflow is better off paying per module. A distributor with a small office team and a complex order flow is better off paying per seat. Count your users and your modules before either demo.
What does Distru do that justifies the price?
Distru is strongest at the wholesale end: sales orders, invoicing, pick and pack from a mobile app, warehouse management across locations, and a two-way Metrc sync that keeps the state record in step without double entry. It also runs production with bills of materials and assemblies, cost accounting, procurement, COA management, a CRM and a brand portal that lets each brand you distribute see only its own inventory and sales. It claims $10 billion in sales processed through the platform.
If your business sells wholesale to dispensaries, that fulfillment and compliance loop is the part that saves labor, and it is where a per seat price earns its keep. If you are a single retail store, most of it is irrelevant, and a POS with built-in state reporting does the job. Our page on cannabis inventory software sets out which operators need a seed-to-sale ERP and which only need their register.
Distru alternatives with a published price
Flourish is the one direct rival with a full public rate card, and it is the number to bring to a Distru call. Canix, Wherefour, BioTrack and the Microsoft Dynamics and Sage based cannabis editions are all quote only, with figures that exist mostly in sponsored roundups. We line them up on price with who published each number, and cover what Metrc and BioTrack cost on top, in our guide to the best seed-to-sale software.
If your main reason for looking at Distru is wholesale ordering rather than the ERP, compare DistruCommerce with the marketplace most brands already sell on. Our breakdown of LeafLink pricing and alternatives shows what brands and dispensaries each pay on both.
